How we make money
DriveForMoney.com is free to use. We pay for research, writing and hosting with advertising and affiliate commissions. Here is exactly how that works.
Advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense. Google chooses which ads appear; we don’t pick individual advertisers, and an ad on a page is not our endorsement. Google and its partners use cookies to show and measure ads. You can turn personalized ads off at any time in , and our privacy policy explains more.
Affiliate links
Some “Apply” buttons and product links are affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up, get hired, or buy something, the company may pay us a referral fee or commission. You pay nothing extra, and you never have to use our links: you can always go to a company’s website directly.
Amazon Associates
DriveForMoney.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Links to Amazon are labeled “(paid link)”.
Sponsored placements
Companies can pay to be featured on the site, for example at the top of the company directory or in a newsletter. Paid placements are always labeled “Sponsored”. Sponsors don’t get to review or change what we write about them.
Our editorial promise
- Pay ranges, requirements and pros and cons are written the same way whether or not a company pays us.
- Rankings in the matcher and compare tool are based on your answers and the published data, not on commissions.
- We include companies we earn nothing from, because a complete comparison is the point of the site.
- When something changes, we update the page, even if it makes a partner look worse.
Why we tell you this
The U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires websites to clearly disclose financial relationships with the companies they write about, and we want you to be able to judge our content with all the facts. That’s why every article and company page links back here.
